“Trustee boards are working under greater scrutiny, operating within a tougher financial environment and tighter regulation. A Professional Trustee with strong financial and governance skills is ideally placed to help navigate towards the right outcomes for a scheme.”

Andrew Firbank is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with over 25 years’ experience working with pension trustee boards, investment sub-committees and governance oversight committees. He brings a powerful combination of actuarial, funding and investment skills to bear on risk management matters and was voted Investment Actuary of the Year in 2017, reflecting his contribution to the industry.

Andrew’s experience spans schemes from FTSE 100 PLCs to SMEs, with UK and overseas parent companies. He works with defined benefit and defined contribution arrangements, both trust and contract based.

He joined PAN in January 2020 and is now working with a range of schemes.
